The MPH in Hospital Hygiene and Patient Safety (HHSP) trains professionals able to ensure infection prevention and control, patient safety and quality-of-care improvement in health facilities.

Programme objectives
The Master's in Hospital Hygiene and Patient Safety aims to develop essential competencies enabling learners to:
- acquire knowledge in infection prevention and control;
- contribute to identifying priority health problems and needs using statistical and epidemiological approaches;
- develop relevant health programmes, projects and initiatives using a problem-solving approach;
- coordinate and monitor activities, supervise and assess team performance, and evaluate the effects of a health intervention;
- conduct research activities arising from problems encountered in practice.

This is a full Master's cycle delivered over four semesters of 30 academic credits under the LMD framework. The curriculum covers:

- Holders of a BAC+4 or a Licence (LMD) in Health Sciences or a related field;
- Health professionals; works engineers; agricultural engineers; senior technicians in nursing and midwifery, public health and hygiene/sanitation;
